About Kimberly
The daughter of a scientist and accountant, my parents were amazed with the talent and creativity God blessed upon their first born child. From a small age I was drawing and wanted to be an artist someday working for Walt Disney World or the Jim Henson Company.

Right out of high school I started college that summer, then I had a Fall internship with the Walt Disney World Company in Florida. After that I relocated to southern California and worked as a Lead Graphic and Web Designer in the publishing and printing industry gaining experience and learning new tools. I returned to my hometown, while still operating a small antiques business, and freelancing in Illustration and Design.
In 2008, I returned to the workforce as a Graphic Designer, Prepress Specialist, and Digital Press Operator for a commercial offset printer, where I am currently employed. I returned to college to update some of my technical skills, and continue selling custom made designs and illustrations on Redbubble and Teepublic.
My other passion is environmental issues regarding habitats, specifically for birds.
I have an especially soft spot in my heart for all parrots. When I was little, I had thought to become a veterinarian, but passion for art overtook that childhood idea. I donate regularly to several local parrot rescues and "The World Parrot Trust". This organization does unbelievable work with native parrots worldwide. Please visit their site to learn more.
